Two from East, Two from West Advance In ASC Baseball Championship Tournament

East Division teams Texas-Dallas and Ozarks and West Division clubs Texas Lutheran and McMurry each won their respective ASC Baseball Championship Tournament first round series and will play for the conference title in a double elimination championship round beginning on Friday at UTD Baseball Complex in Richardson, Texas (UTD will serve as host because it is the top seed remaining from the East). No. 21-ranked UTD (Hardin-Simmons) and McMurry (Louisiana College) each swept their best-of-three series, while No. 8 Texas Lutheran (Mississippi College) and Ozarks (Mary Hardin-Baylor) had to go the distance to move on. All four victorious teams were hosts of their first-round series.
