Press Release posted by RPI Permalink
TROY, N.Y. - Sunday's championship games of the Liberty League Tournament will be aired live on WRPI, 91.5 FM, and www.wrpi.org from the University of Rochester. Perry Laskaris '07 will be on the call when second-seeded Renesselaer (32-10; 18-6 LL) faces third-seeded St. Lawrence (21-17; 12-9 LL) on Sunday at 11am.

Should RPI win that game, the Red Hawks will be crowned the league champions and earn the automatic berth into the NCAA Playoffs. Should the Saints win, the same two teams play again with the winner capturing the league title.

Rensselaer opened the tournament with a pair of wins on Friday, defeating St. Lawrence, 6-1, and top-seeded Rochester, 5-3. The Saints came back from their loss to RPI to down fourth-seeded Clarkson, 4-1, and Rochester, 9-8 in 11 innings. Both wins were on Saturday.
