Teams Announced For NCAA Division III Baseball Regional Co-Hosted By USA South

(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee announced the six teams that will be heading to Danville, Virginia for the South Regional. The USA South Athletic Conference, along with the City of Danville Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department will co-host the regional at American Legion Memorial Post 325 Stadium-Dan Daniel Park. The tournament begins Wednesday, May 14 and will conclude with the championship game on Saturday, May 17. In the event of inclement weather, Sunday, May 18th will serve as a rain date.

The South Regional is one of five which include six teams while eight teams will compete at three other first-round sites. All first rounds will use a double-elimination format. Winners of the eight first-round tournaments will qualify for the double-elimination championship at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin, May 23-27.
