March 18, 2018 #NJCUBB Suffers Third Straight One-Run Loss; Falls at Stevens, 5-4 HOBOKEN, N.J. ( | Stevens Institute of Technology (6-8) scored twice in the bottom of the fifth inning to grab a 5-4 lead and neither school scored again as the Ducks outlasted the New Jersey City University baseball team (5-4) in a non-conference game on March 18 at Dobbelaar Field. NJCU lost its third straight one-run road game this week.
March 17, 2018 No Gothic Luck For #NJCUBB as Salisbury Wins in 11th Inning on Walkoff Walk SALISBURY, Md. ( | Junior shortstop Nick LoGatto (Helmetta, NJ/Spotswood) forced extra innings with a bases-clearing, two-out, three-run double in the top of the ninth inning for New Jersey City University (5-3) but it was longtime national powerhouse Salisbury University (8-4) that had the ultimate luck in the St. Patrick's Day non-conference matchup. The Gulls faced an 0-2 count with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the 11th inning before sophomore catcher Matt Padeway (Fairfax, Va.) waited out four consecutive balls to force in the winning run as Salisbury used a walkoff walk to survive NJCU, 7-6.
March 15, 2018 With Tying Run on Third #NJCUBB Falls to Moravian and Darkness, 9-8 BETHLEHEM, Pa. ( | The New Jersey City University baseball had the tying run on third with one out in the top of the ninth inning before darkness forced the game to be called and the Gothic Knights dropped a disappointing 9-8 non-conference decision to Moravian College on March 15 at Gillespie Field.
