April 5, 2018 Perry blasts third homer of season in 12-4 victory NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University baseball played into darkness again against Rhode Island College in Newport, but this time the Seahawks were ahead by eight runs (12-4) when the game was called a final. In 2016, the teams ended in darkness as well with the score tied 7-7 after 11 innings.
March 7, 2018 Maybach earns pitching honor by NCBWA Institutions from the ODAC, the CCC, and the MIAC gained National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division III accolades for games played Feb. 26-March 4.
May 12, 2017 Salve Regina wins CCC series to win tournament The first-seeded Salve Regina defeated second-seeded Endicott in game two of the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship Series by an 8-2 score to capture its ninth conference title in program history. Earlier in the day, the Seahawks beat Endicott, 12-2, in game one.
May 12, 2017 Back-to-back conference titles for Salve Regina baseball NEWPORT, R.I. - Starting pitchers Patrick Maybach (No. Kingstown, R.I.) and Cory Poplawski (Syracuse, N.Y.) did their jobs on the mound and the Salve Regina University baseball offense pounded out 28 hits and scored 20 runs in two games to sweep Endicott College in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Series.
May 8, 2017 Salve Regina gets rare loss at home but leaves with a pod win Nichols was the only CCC team to give Salve Regina a home loss all season but the Bisons need two wins and got just the one. Salve Regina advances to play Endicott next weekend in the CCC finals.
April 27, 2017 2017 Regional Rankings - Week 1 NCAA released the first regional rankings this morning. Topping the rankings are: Salve Regina, Oswego State, Birmingham-Southern, Linfield, Wooster, Johns Hopkins, Washington (Mo.), and UW-Whitewater.
