April 26, 2017 Capuano and Lacroix Lift WPI Past Johnson & Wales in Regular Season Finale Northboro, MA --- Graduate student Anthony Capuano (Stoneham, MA) snapped a 3-3 stalemate with a 2-RBI single and junior Evan Lacroix (Methuen, MA), who batted 3-for-4, followed with another run producing single in the seventh to lead WPI past Johnson & Wales, 6-3, in a non-conference matchup Wednesday at the New England Baseball Complex.
April 22, 2017 WPI Splits With Springfield, Boasts Third Consecutive NEWMAC West Division Title Springfield, MA --- The WPI Baseball team split a pair of games with Springfield Saturday and secured the NEWMAC West division title for the third consecutive season. The Pride earned a 4-3 win over WPI before falling to the Engineers, 11-4, in the second leg of the doubleheader at Berry-Allen Field.

April 19, 2017 Howard’s Hot Bat Boosts WPI Past Becker in Non-Conference Showdown Northboro, MA --- Freshman David Larson drove in what proved to be the game-winning run while junior Matt Howard batted 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI in WPI Baseball’s 5-3 triumph over Becker Wednesday afternoon at the New England Baseball Complex.
April 18, 2017 WPI Charges Past MIT Behind Battery of D’Agostino and Lindner, Sweeps Season Series Northboro, MA --- Junior Steven D'Agostino (Worcester, MA) struck out eight in a solid seven-inning start and sophomore battery mate Austin Lindner (W. Windsor, NJ) batted 4-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a run scored to lead WPI past MIT 12-4 Tuesday afternoon in the NEWMAC divisional crossover game at the New England Baseball Complex.
