July 30, 2019 Rypel replaces Ballinger at NWU Nebraska Wesleyan announced the hiring of John Rypel as the new Head coach for the Prairie Wolves. He becomes the 11th head coach in NWU program history. He has served as head baseball coach at two different NCAA III institutions amassing 132 victories.
July 25, 2019 Alford to guide Gordon in 2020 Gordon College Athletics Director Jonathan Tymann has named Todd Alford the new head coach for the Fighting Scots baseball team after serving as the pitching coach for the past four seasons under former head coach Rob Mansfield.
July 1, 2019 Mansfield leaves Gordon for Valley Forge The University of Valley Forge officially announces Robert Mansfield as the new head baseball coach. Mansfield will bring extensive coaching experience and a vast knowledge of recruiting to the Patriots Baseball program.
April 13, 2017 Scots Bounce Back to Down Falcons 13-5 WENHAM, Mass.—The relief was palatable as Gordon Baseball ended a four-game skid in a big way by handing Fitchburg State a 13-5 loss. The Scots shook off a four-run deficit early in the game and showcased a balanced offense to record their sixth victory of the season.

April 9, 2016 Scots Out-Duel Hawks for CCC Sweep BRISTOL, R.I.—Gordon Baseball’s top two starters stayed unbeaten on the season and the Fighting Scots outlasted host Roger Williams in a pair of pitcher’s duels to improve to 2-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. Matt Amore (Pequannock, N.J.) pitched a one-hit shutout to help Gordon to a 1-0 win in game one, while Scott Hall (Weymouth, Mass.) held off a late rally to complete the sweep, 3-2, in the nightcap.
