    Lisle, Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse baseball team earned a doubleheader split at top-ranked Concordia University Chicago (Ill.) Thursday night at Benedictine University. The Cougars, ranked first on this week's American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Collegiate Baseball Top-25 Poll and on D3baseball.com, won the opener, 3-0, Thursday. The Eagles, receiving votes on the ABCA/Collegiate Baseball Poll, took the nightcap, 10-0 in seven innings. The games were moved to Benedictine's The Sports Complex to utilize its lights after a lengthy rain delay in Chicago.

    La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse baseball team earned its second consecutive trip to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championship with a 5-3 victory over Saint John's University (Minn.) in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championship Saturday afternoon at Copeland Park. The Eagles improve to 38-8 on the season and advance to the national championships May 27-31 in Appleton, Wisconsin. Saint John's (Minn.) ends its season at 32-13.

Friday afternoon at Copeland Park. The Eagles, ranked fourth on the D3baseball.com Top-25 poll, improve to 37-8 on the season and will play Saturday, May 21 at 3:30 p.m. for the regional title and a berth in the NCAA III Championships May 27 in Appleton, Wisconsin. UWL set a single-season school record with its 37th win Friday, breaking the record of 36 set in 2015.

Saint John's (Minn.) falls to 29-13 and will play in an elimination game Friday at 10 a.m. against North Central College (Ill.).

The Eagles, ranked fourth in the D3baseball.com Top-25 poll and third on the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III Top-30 poll, improve to 35-8 on the season. The Buccaneers drop to 27-13 this season. UWL advances to play Sain John's University (Minn.) Thursday, May 19 at 4:30 p.m. Beloit (Wis.) will play The College of Saint Scholastica (Minn.) Thursday, March 14 at 10 a.m. in an elimination game.

The Eagles, ranked fourth on this week's D3baseball.com Top-25 Poll, improve to 34-8 overall while the Warhawks, ranked 15th in the nation, drop to 29-14. The 34 overall wins for UWL are tied for second in single-season school history. The Eagles also won 34 games in 2012 while winning a school record 36 games in 2015.
